We do not ask for, retain or use more data than necessary to provide you with services you have requested. This means we only process and hold data related to yoga classes, coaching, mentoring, and free E-newsletter subscriptions in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We use the information you provide to carry out our obligations arising from any bookings or contracts entered into and to provide you with the information and services that you request from us. We also use the information to allow you to participate in online features of our service when you choose to do so.
Records of coaching and mentoring are filed as digitally pass-word protected documents. We only hold personal data for as long as necessary. Once data is no longer needed we delete it. You can at any time request details of the data we hold relating to you. Email subscribers can also request any such data is amended or deleted.
Certain records will be maintained in accordance with GDPR regulations to support safe practice in yoga classes, including: Student questionnaires, Teaching plans showing practices taught and modifications offered, Risk assessments, Records of accidents/incidents, Health and safety policies of venues hired for public classes
We use third-party payment providers to handle payment processing data securely. In accordance with Article 6(1)(c) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we need to retain data related to all purchases to fulfil our existing legal obligations.We never sell rent or exchange our mailing lists. We do not share commercial or technical data with anyone.
In accordance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, we never send bulk unsolicited emails, (popularly known as Spam) to email addresses.All emails/E-bulletins sent by us will be clearly marked as originating from us. All such emails will also include clear instructions on how to unsubscribe from our E-bulletin service and any future emails. Such instructions will either include a link to a page to unsubscribe or a valid email address to which you should reply, with “unsubscribe” as the email subject heading.
